Alethea, the Ilmarian of Truth
Alethea became an Ilmarian when she was killed by an explosion, which also wiped out the entire Aerian race. Even though she was 221 years old when she died, she is still considered "young" by her people's standard. Dutiful and obedient, she puts a full effort in her obligations and does what she is told. Nevertheless, she sometimes questions her duty though she doesn't defy orders. She also cares about her friends so she is willing to help a friend in need.

Captured by Shintra's men when she was a child, she was raised into believing that she was a Duermon until a chance encounter with her people caused her to question everything she believed. After discovering the truth about her heritage, she had kept mostly to herself and threw herself into her work to atone for past actions. She also feels guilty that only she alone survived the attack on her people because she believes that she may be partly responsible for their deaths and wonders if she deserves to be Aerius's successor. After joining Kejuta and the others, she received Aerius's Spear to help her complete her duty. During her missions, her only companion is Argus, a Parasitic Duermon who resides inside her body and provides her armor. Their relationship is delicate due to the fact that she was distressed about her past and had become more guarded.
She has the ability to use both light and darkness albeit to a lesser degree compare to Hessin and the twins. While she can use them to make weapons and light mines, she mostly uses them to disguise herself. As the Ilmarian of Truth, she also can detect if anyone is lying using the Web of Lies ability. If someone tells a fib, a thin thread would appear from the person's heart and straight to her hand. Pulling the thread would cause a sharp pain to the liar.

Argus
A powerful Parasitic Duermon who agreed to become Alethea's "partner". Per their agreement, the Aerian would agree to let him feed off her immortal soul and he would agree to become her armor as well as her eyes during battles and reconnaissance missions, which works for him because he vowed that he would no longer fight anymore. Prior to his encounter with the Ilmarian of Truth, he would help future rulers of Idilarys win their Succession Wars that many viewed him as a good luck charm. Because of that, he declared that he wasn't interested in getting involved in future Succession Wars and lived his life in seclusion. Unfortunately, many princes and princesses would still harass him with hopes of changing his mind to no avail.
When Alethea first met him, he was slowly wasting away, but after his partnership, he has gone back to his usual self. While he's willing to help the Aerian with her duty, he doesn't tolerate incompetence and can be impatient. This four-armed and four-hundred-eyed creature with three rows of teeth claims to have known his creator, Duermon, and even was his drinking buddy.
