Jarkfi (jahrk-FEE) -– 1) The Sendoan word for “mayor”. 2) He or she is considered the leader of a Sendoan village.
Kahlin/Kahlina (kah-LIN/kah-LINAH) -– 1) It means “ruler” in the Isharan language. A male ruler is known by the first term while a female one is called by the second term. 2) The ruler of Ishara.
Kahzin/Kahzina (kah-ZIN/kah-ZINAH) -– 1) It means “prince” and “princess” respectively in the Isharan language. 2) The heir or heiress of the Isharan kingdom.
Kasama (kah-SAH-mah) – In the Duermon language, it means “leader”. The name of the Velscendus cult leader
Kallian Wolves (KAL-lee-uhn) -– Famous wolves which live in the Kallian Forest and are known for its fierceness and fast movement. Their teeth are strong enough to break a human bone with one snap. Formerly known as Merzakian wolves, it was rumored that they were her most treasured creation and they would follow her everywhere.
Karadis (KAIR-ah-dis) – An elusive bird that lives in Kreesia. Its feathers are highly prized for fashion and potion making.
Kastic Roots (KAH-stic) – A plant used for medicinal purposes. Consuming too much of it will kill a person.
Keju (kee-JOO) -– The ninth month of the year. It is designated as the first month of fall and has 26 days.
Krassa Root (KRAS-sah) – An ingredient used for potions. It also can be used to force a person to tell the truth.
Laissavik (ley-SAH-vik) – A deer native, which is renown for its curved antlers, to Fravashi. It is usually around 2.13 meters tall. It is mostly used for pulling carriages, and its meat is considered a delicacy.
Latonna Flower (LAH-tuhn-nah) – The original name of the ceraphilis flower. See Ceraphilis Flower.
Leavefish – A fish species that lives near the coast of Kreesia. It got its name because its scales look like leaves.
Lorena Flower (loh-REE-nah) – A plant used for potions.
Lunsk (LUHNSK) - The sixth month of the year. It is designated as the first month of summer and has 25 days.
LuRosia’s Deli and Bakery (loo-roh-ZEE-ah) – A popular delicatessen in Lyceaum. It is famous for its pastries and meat pies.
Magic – Magic is regulated by the Ilmarian of Magic, Aundra. Since she is the personification of magic, she determines which magic is allowed in the world. Without her, no one could use magic. There are hundreds or maybe even thousand forms of magic in the world according to her. Some of which have not been discovered yet.
Mandara Leaves (MAN-dee-rah) – A plant that is used for to calm the nerves. Many people prefer to smoke it to calm their nerves.
Marden Forest Patrol (MAHR-deyn) – Group of Ankan soldiers who are in charge of patrolling the Marden Forest for trespassers
Mayberry Inn – An inn located near the edge of the Kallia Forest.
Mazu (ma-ZOO) -– The eighth month of the year. It is designated as the third month of summer and has 25 days.
Medical Workers Division – One of the three divisions in Bartheomos. People in this division are in charge of taking care of anyone who is injured in war or suffering from poor health no matter what nationalities. For their badge, the bartheomos holds Marika's khakkhara in its feet since she is considered to be the Goddess of Healing.
Mesmerizer – A Possessor Duermon who has the ability to hypnotize a human to do his or her bidding.
Months - There are twelves months in a year and each month has twenty-five or twenty-six days. Every seventh day is considered as a day of rest. The months are in this order: Anth, Dirtha, Ceza, Enju, Dezmi, Lunsk, Seera, Mazu, Keju, Farth, Rask, and Toov. Likewise, the months are divided into categories based on the seasons: Anth, Dirtha and Toov (Winter); Ceza, Enju, and Dezmi (Spring); Lunsk, Seera, and Mazu (Summer); and Keju, Farth, and Rask (Fall).
Morian Grass (moh-REE-ahn) – A medicinal plant.
Mutouh (moh-TOH) – A crustacean that lives in the Loredan Desert. It has a spiked shell and several tentacles. It’s infamous for its deadly spin attack. Many Ishan tribes considers the babies as a delicacy.
National University of Lycia (lee-SEE-ah) – One of the top universities in the world.
Needle Ring – A ring with two sharp points pointing in opposite direction that is used by the Ilmarians to travel around Samara. All of the rings have been blessed by Marika’s blood, which activated them.
Neriad (neh-REE-ad) -– Merfolk created by Neria. Their slender bodies is a light blue and their hair is the colors of the sea (e.g. green, blue, white, etc.). They have fins on their back and are topless. While they are common all over the oceans, most resides in a cove on Kreesia.
Nerian Year (neh-REE-an) – A year has 306 days.
Nerian-Kreesian Pact (neh-REE-an-KREE-zhee-uhn) -– An agreement between the Neriads and Kreesians which states that all half-Neriad children are to be raised on land.
Nestling – The nickname for the first-year Bartheomos members.
Newstone Powder – An ingredient used for potions.
Olaphant (o-lah-fuhnt) – A large mammal with four ivory tusks and elongated ears that roamed the Loredan Desert and savanna of Ishara.
Original Gods – The first gods who created the world of Samara and its inhabitants. All of them later died after suffering mortal wound during the Caeculum War. They are: Aerius, Allaura, Clarise, Duermon, Fuera, Merzak, Neria, Puria, Seitha, and Versen.
Parasitic Duermon -– A Duermon who must rely on a human host to have a physical shape. Unlike the Possessor Duermon, they secretly reside in a host body and feed off the human's soul until there is none left. They prefer to stay hidden, which is why they are harder to detect compared to a Possessor Duermon. A person who has a Parasitic Duermon inside his body will show symptoms of lethargy and illness. Unfortunately for them, they must live on living beings in order to survive so many stays inside animals. Most have insect appearance.

Peacemaker Division – One of the three divisions in Bartheomos. Members of this group are in charge of negotiating a compromise between two quarreling nations to prevent war. Their badge has the bird holding a olive branch in its feet.
Pillar of the World -– The mythical pillar which sustains the world of Samara. This is where the Goddess of Life resides. . It is actually an umbrella acacia tree.
Pinkcloak Root – A medicinal plant
Possessor Duermon -– A Duermon who must rely on a human host to have a physical shape. Unlike the Parasitic Duermon, they forcibly take control of a human host and retain his memories to avoid detection. They reside in a human body until the host dies. When that happens, they must search out another host. Unlike the Parasitic Duermon, they can reside in nonliving objects, such as a brooch or an oil lamp, while they wait for a human to possess. Out of the three types of Duermon, they are considered the most dangerous.
Potar (POT-uhr) – A crocodile that resides in the Marden Swamp.
Quentis (KWEEN-tiz) -– It is known as the “Bird of Time” since it could sense whether it is a time of war or peace. When there is a war going on, it transforms into a black-feathered, carnivorous bird that is violent. On the other hand, it becomes a white-feathered, docile bird when there is time of peace.
